Australian Animals & Culture
Australian Animals - Fun Facts (incl. colour in activities for young learners)
This document includes interesting information about some of Australia's most famous national animals. Here the family will be able to see where the animals live, what the eat and why they are so special to Australia. VoRTCS have included some colour in activities for young learners so they can become comfortable with some of our cute (and not so cuddly) national wildlife.
Australia Animal Puzzles - Fun Learning
These puzzles aim at encouraging young learners to begin recognising full words and filling in sentences, while still making education fun and challenging.
Australian Aboriginal Culture
Before the first settlers arrived in this country, one of the most unique and untouched cultural tribes lived in Australia - Aborigines. Their culture is admired worldwide, with some of the ancient artworks dating back to the oldest on record. Teaching newly settled families about Australia's first inhabitants, is an important and essential area of knowledge they will need to truely integrate and understand the beginning and growth of this amazing nation.
