How was our family referred to VoRTCS?
Referrals to the Refugee Tutoring program come from a variety of sources.  Most families are referred to VoRTCS by other organisations who work with refugees.  Referrals often come from counsellors, case workers or teachers.

Other families are referred to VoRTCS by community groups, church groups, refugee associations or friends.

In all cases, the families need assistance with English language skills and are not able to pay for private tutors.
