Information Packs for Refugee Families

This section includes Information Packs created by the Government and a local Brisbane TAFE to introduce and explain the diverse cultures and opportunities on offer in Australia and local Brisbane communities. These Packs include information on how to apply for support from organisations, how to fill out certain forms and the general steps needed to be taken by all new refugee settlers to begin integrating into the community.

These articles are quite extensive and long, so sitting down with the family and explaining parts which may be confusing is strongly recommended. Below is the English version of the document, to access several language variations of the article, click the link below and select the correct language.

Australian Beach Safety

Australia is know for its beautiful beaches, golden sands and glorious waves. Yet underneath all this beauty lies many hidden dangers which severely or fatally harm innocent swimmers. Understanding the wave conditions and what certain beach flags mean, will keep your family safe while they soak up the summer sun!

Below are Beach Safety Facts Sheets developed by Surf Life Saving Queensland to help educate new Australian's about our beaches.
