WE NEED TUTORS!

Currently we require tutors for Brisbane including some who are able to tutor in the suburbs listed below.

North: Chermside, Zillmere, Bracken Ridge
South West: Inala, Acacia Ridge, Sunnybank, Coopers Plains, Eight Mile Plains.
West: Ipswich, Collingwood Park, Goodna.
South: Logan, Woodridge, Beenleigh, including suburbs such as Crestmead, Marsden, Slack's Creek, Kingston and Waterford.

We hold Intake nights every 8 weeks for new tutors. To become a tutor, you will need to attend three compulsory training sessions: Intake Sessions 1, 2 and 3. Visit the Upcoming Events page to find details of the next training and to register.

 If you did your tutor training before September 2009, it is time to get an update! We now have a manual and some new ideas to help us get better outcomes from our service for our families. This will be a good time to share your successes and failures and make sure we are all on track.
The first refresher training course will be held on Thursday 29th July and Thursday 5th August from 7pm to 9.30pm (light supper provided). Trainers are Marion Norton and Sandra Mills.
This session will be capped at 30 participants.
Everyone should find the time to do this training in the next 12 months. If you can't attend this one, please nominate your preference for future sessions:

 This is a three sessions course, all compulsory. When you register to the first session you are also registering for the 2nd and the 3rd sessions. The first session will be from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday 23 August (dinner will be provided)
The second and third sessions will be on Saturday 4 September from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm (lunch provided).
Please be aware that you will need to attend the three sessions to be registered as VoRTCS tutors
